I've got lots of books coming out over the next few months, some of them re-releases, some of them brand new. I'm so excited to announce that the newest first-run novel in a while, Alice in Shtuppingland, will be out later this year. The book has finally turned into what I wanted it to after much sweat and cursing (both mine and Alice's). I hope you fall in love with its crazy Seventies story and the crazier chick named Barr--I mean, Alice. Come along for the ride as you read about her coming-of-age adventures in Seventies Boston. I promise there's a lot to love. Don't read the book hungry--food is lovingly described, along with the sex!

And, I have an erotic suspense that's set in Vegas coming out, too. Try as I might, I can't come up with a decent title. Got any title ideas for a story involving heavy spanking/BDSM, fire, and Vegas casinos? Email me. If I use your title, I'll give you a free copy of the ebook when it's published. (Please don't send in Burning Questions, Burned, Hot Vegas Nights, etc. - those have already been considered and discarded.)

Three reprints also come out this fall: Exposed, Hot for Teacher, and one of my favorites, Hot to Trot. I can't tell you how much fun I had writing that book. And, if it ain't fun, why do it?

About Barrie

I've been writing and selling erotic stories for longer than I care to admit under the pseudonyms Barrie Abalard, Belle, and Miss Lee. You can find my books on Amazon and many of the other usual places.

Being of a certain age means I've done a lot of shit in my life, notably years of radio and technical writing. I also did short stints as a taxi driver, clerical chartist for the Boston Federal Reserve Bank, and temporary office worker for over half a dozen companies. Never mind what else I've done.

A good story with quirky characters turns me on. Besides reading, I enjoy being around my family and our cats, singing, creating new recipes, taking solitary road trips, and hanging with friends. I'm hopelessly addicted to a number of television shows, including Burn Notice, Covert Affairs (Christopher Gorham, yum!), The Closer, Rizzoli & Isles, White Collar, and the show that never fails to make me laugh with its word play and off-the-wall cultural references, Psych. I write comic romance under my real name, and my first release, Cover Me, is now available.

I'm married, with a grown child who's married, and as of this writing, I live in the Middle Atlantic area. (This may change soon.) I believe that a woman should have a past that's juicy enough to bring a blush to her descendents' faces. Not that I'm going to tell it here, mind you, and not that I'm old…
